The only thing this keyboard doesn’t have is backlighting.
That isn’t a huge concern with me. I do tend to slip a little on the keys when typing, they are a little slick, I hope this will fade as the keys get more used.
The keyboard doesn’t come with instructions.
Just a case, keyboard and charging cable.
The keyboard doesn’t take too long to charge.
It’s very easy and quick to set up the keyboard to my iPad.
I’ve used other keyboards with my iPad in the past and I like this one the best.
It’s actually cheaper than some of my other keyboards too!
I like that the keyboard is removable. This allows me to be able to leave my iPad in the case when I just want to browse and not type.
The keyboard is magnetic and just attaches to the case.
The case is very secure around my iPad and I like that its a soft plastic that connects it and it has a lip over the face of the iPad.
It took me awhile to figure out how to copy/paste.
I love Apple devices, but i don’t have a Mac. Some of my other keyboards uses the CMD button for the copy/paste, it’s confusing to me.
With this keyboard I just need to set it up for iOS. I use the Fn key and press E.
Then I can use the f3 button to copy, f4 button to paste and f5 button cuts, etc.
The awake/sleep feature for the case only works when the case is used without the keyboard. The iPad will not sleep when the case is closed around the keyboard and iPad together.
I’m able to easily sit with my iPad on my lap and type with this keyboard.
If I had to change something about this case it would be to somehow add a strap to be able to hold just the iPad with the case wrapped around the back. I’m not sure how you would do it, since the keyboard sits on that area when it’s being used.
